Club Awards

At the end-of-semester party, the club gives out three types of awards to qualifying students:

The Honor Roll Award: Given to students whose rating (at any time in the school year) is over 100 times their age.

Note: The only way your rating can change is by playing in tournaments. We recommend students to play one tournament per month to keep them motivated and interested in the game. Students that make Honor Roll are also awarded on your child’s school awards day.

The 1600 Club Award: Given to students whose rating (at any time in the school year) passes 1600. (Click to see a full list of 1600 Club members.)

The 2000 Club Award: Given to students whose rating (at any time in the school year) passes 2000. (Click to see a full list of 2000 Club members.)

The Top 100 Award: Given to students whose rating qualifies them to be in the Top 100 rating players at their age. (Click to see the USCF Top 100 lists.)
